Biggar RCMP is reporting an armed robbery over the weekend and the suspect is still on the lam.

According to a police press release, a lone male entered the Esso in Biggar and brandished a hand gun. The incident happened at roughly 9 p.m.

Police said cash and cigarettes were taken and no one was injured during the incident. RCMP added the suspect then left the area in a small two door black car on HWY 14 heading east.

Biggar RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect. He is described as a 6’ Caucasian, with a slender build, wearing a black and red checkered shirt, a navy blue or dark purple hooded sweater, gloves, black pants with a grey or white stripe down the sides and a black toque.
