Passing lanes between North Battleford, Cochin now open

Nov 14, 2018 | 8:15 AM

After months of construction, improvements along Highway 4 between Cochin and North Battleford are officially open.

The $10 million project included four passing lanes as well as intersection improvements, according to the province. It said the contractor will return in the spring for additional paving, minor repairs and final clean up.

Between 3,700 and 6,900 vehicles per day pass along the road.

The government of Saskatchewan has invested more than $8.4 billion in highways and infrastructure since 2008, improving more than 13,000 kilometres of road.
