All clear at Lloyd Mall after RCMP respond to bomb threat

Lloydminster RCMP said there is no longer any safety concerns at the Lloyd Mall, after responding to a bomb threat at the shopping centre at around 10:15 this morning.

Three schools in the area were placed on a hold and secure and the mall was evacuated.

A search was complete this afternoon and police said the building is now safe and was reopened at 1:30 p.m.

RCMP continue to investigate the source of the threat.
