Holland hands Silvernagle first loss at Viterra Scotties provincials

Humboldt, Sask. - Robyn Silvernagle dropped her first game at the 2019 Viterra Scotties Provincial Championships.

The North Battleford rink dropped 9-4 to Regina-based rink Amber Holland. The team now holds a 4-1 record at the tournament, while Holland moves to 5-1.

Elsewhere in the afternoon draw,  Penny Barker beat Ashley Howard 8-6, Sherry Anderson squeaked out a victory over Sherry Just 6-5 to improve to 3-2, and Kristen Streifel took down Jessica Mitchell 11-2 in eight ends.

Draw seven gets underway at 7:30 p.m., which will see Silvernagle's rink up against Team Howard.
