Rachel Homan’s rink executed when needed en route to a 4-3 win over Silvana Tirinzoni at the Meridian Canadian Open, her 10th Grand Slam of Curling title.

Bottcher takes men’s 2019 Meridian Canadian Open title over Epping

Brendan Bottcher's rink has won the 2019 Meridian Canadian Open, the team's first Pinty's Grand Slam of Curling title.

In an East versus West battle, the Edmonton-based rink came out on top over Toronto's John Epping in seven ends 6-3.

Silvana Tirinzoni ran away with an 8-4 win over Eve Muirhead, who was the lone undefeated team all week at the tournament.

Night of upsets set stage for 2019 Meridian Canadian Open finals

A pair of upsets Saturday night set the stage for the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling: Meridian Canadian Open finals.

The first came from Silvana Tirinzoni, who ran away with an 8-4 win over Eve Muirhead.

Scheidegger shines, Howard and Gushue qualify in late Friday draw

Casey Scheidegger’s rink has qualified for the quarterfinals at the 2019 Meridian Canadian Open after a 6-4 seven end win over Winnipeg’s Tracey Fleury.
