Early Bird special on now for NB trade show vendors

Vendors planning to participate in the annual trade show in North Battleford still have a few days if they want to take advantage of the Early Bird registration prices.

The 34th annual Agri-Mex 2019 Farm, Trade and Home Show will run April 4, 5 and 6 at the Exhibition Park.

Vikings senior boys basketball team gear up for stretch-drive of season

The North Battleford Comprehensive High School senior boys Vikings basketball team have an exhibition game Jan. 29 at the high school against Unity at 8 p.m.

The Battlefords North Stars closed out their season-series with the Flin Flon Bombers Saturday night in a wild 6-5 overtime contest. The Stars finish the season 1-2-1 against the Bombers.

Stars fall in OT in rematch with Bombers

In the second game of back-to-backs with the Flin Flon Bombers, the Battlefords North Stars dropped a heartbreaker in overtime, 6-5 the final at the Whitney Forum in Flin Flon.

The officials were busy Friday night in Flin Flon, handing out a combined 158 minutes in penalties between the two teams.

Coming off a 5-2 loss last night to the Flin Flon Bombers, the Battlefords North Stars return to action tonight for their second of back-to-backs against the Bombers this weekend, again taking place at the Whitney Forum in Flin Flon.

The Battlefords North Stars fell 5-2 Friday night to the Flin Flon Bombers at the Whitney Forum in Flin Flon.

The Battlefords North Stars return to action tonight against the Flin Flon Bombers at the Whitney Forum in Flin Flon.

Rooming house project to be ready by April

The Supported Rooming House project that was slated for development in North Battleford is getting closer to completion and should be ready in April.

Battlefords Indian and Métis Friendship Centre (BIMFC) is the lead on the project.
