It’s something standard in Saskatchewan for many small towns.

The local hockey rink is synonymous with the culture of many in the province, but for the people of Perdue, it’s something they’ve been missing for almost four years.

Ahead of the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling 2019 Meridian Canadian Open, the Civic Centre is being transformed from the home of the North Stars to the home of some of the premier curlers from across the nation.

Discovery Co-op to open food store, pharmacy in former Super A Foods building

Come early 2019, a new food store and pharmacy will be open in Battleford.

Discovery Co-op has announced they will open a new location in the town in late-April 2019 in the old Super A Foods building.
